Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Launches September 25

In a previous announcement in 2022, Dragami Games revealed they were in the process of amplifying Grasshopper Manufacture’s iconic action game, Lollipop Chainsaw. After a couple of postponements, we now have a definitive release date for the game straight from the developers.

The company announced that the enhanced version, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, will hit the market in September. The game isn't only visually enhanced but also packs new gameplay content—updated chainsaws and additional costumes. It introduces a fresh Time Attack mode and adds new elements to Juliet’s room.

An interesting feature of the game is the inclusion of both an Original Mode and a RePOP Mode. The latter sports a distinct, vibrant, pop-art-inspired aesthetic for damage effects.

Further, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP offers several improvements for a smoother gaming experience. Among these are a new Chained Hits Hunting system to accelerate your attack speed with multiple chained hits, adjusted input timings for combos, and the addition of new auto-lock and auto-fire switches for the Chainsaw Blaster, among others.

The game will be launched on September 25 for several platforms, including PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Physical copies will hit the stores a month later, in October. The game will retail for $49.99.
